In July 2001 I left my family and friends behind to spend a Gap Year living in the Kinston, North Carolina, USA. You can read all about it in the USA 2001-2002 section of this blog.
For a long time I yearned to go back, but recently I realised that the ten years since have brought their fair share of excitement. I had my scooter stolen, revealed a Dan Brown exclusive and captured a zeitgeist.
I will free it soon, but in the meantime do scroll down and learn about the ordinary adventures of thoroughly ordinary chap. M
